We’ve always loved yellows (of course) but just recently we’ve been swooning a lot of all shades of pink too. Its definitely the colour of the moment and you know us, we like to delves straight in. Sally is considering repainting her entire house to cater for it and I’ve been collecting the odd few bits and pieces here and there to compliment my mustardy lounge. There are lots of different pinks that work and we love them all!

On our Instagram feed we’ve found ourselves coming back to pink time and time again. It’s like a habit we cant kick. We start talking about boho and suddenly we’re on pink. We begin with botanicals and there we are again, back on pinks. So what is it about pink? And why pink and yellow? Because they look fab together in the summer time!

Of all the yellow and pink inspiration we’ve looked at in the last couple of weeks, these two are my favourites:

The first is ultra cool. The dark walls really set of the pale pink chair and yellow velvet cushions. It also makes the golds stand out on the stairs and on the chair arms. The artwork ties the whole shot together – love it! (image cred: Swoon Worth Blog)

The second one is just my style… a mix of vintage and modern items with a variety of materials and textures to interest you eye. There’s so much to look at!There’s just enough pink there for me and the mustard velvet sofa is delicious! (image cred: unknown)

There are so many beautiful accessories around at the moment that will make this work in your home.

I love interiors! I've always enjoyed styling my home and my husband will tell you I'm always moving things around and trying something new. My favs include Mid Century Modern and Ecclectic mixes of contrasting themes such as classical design and pop art.
